Departure from your hotel to the bus terminal and board to Ciudad del Este. Arrival and time for breakfast (not included). Next, transfer to the city of Presidente Franco (10 km) to visit the Monday Falls, with a wonderful panoramic view of these water falls 45 meters high and approximately 120 meters wide, which are truly impressive. The name “Monday” (pronounced “mon-da-ugh”) comes from the Guarani language and means: “stolen river.” In the afternoon we will visit the Itaipu Hydroelectric Plant, the largest dam in South America, and the largest in the world in terms of production of clean and renewable energy, with more power than 10 nuclear power plants.
